1) Eid-ul-Fitr

Eid-ul-Fitr is the most popular festival of Muslims. It is celebrated in the end of the holy month of Ramadan. It is popularly known as Eid. Eid-ul-Fitr literally means "festival of breaking the fast". It is a very important religious holiday for the Muslims worldwide. The month of Ramadan is considered as a very spiritual month. The Muslims participate in pious activities and peacemaking in the whole month. After the completion of Ramadan, they break the fast and celebrate it as Eid-ul-Fitr.

2) Eid Milad-un-Navi

Eid Milad-un-Navi is celebrated worldwide by Muslims as a birthday ceremony of Prophet Mohammad. It is a gazetted holiday in India. It is also known as Navi day. Mohammad is believed to be last prophet. On this day, people gather, remember, discuss and celebrate the advent of Prophet Mohammad and his learning.

3) Shab-e-Barat

Shab-e-Barat is a Muslim's festival which falls in the month of Shaban, 8th month according to the Islamic calendar. This month is celebrated as a month of separation. The Arabs left their home and wander in the search of water. It is celebrated 14 or 15 days after the month of Ramadan. It is also known as the Muslim festival of light.

4) Eid al-Adha

Eid-al-Adha is celebrated at the end of the Hajj. All of the Muslims throughout the world are celebrated this festival with great enthusiasm. It is also known as "the festival of sacrifice" or Bakra-eid. In this festival, Muslims from the all over the world remember and commemorate the trials and triumphs of Abraham and sacrifice their pet calf or goat to please God.
