PostgreSQL NOT condition

The PostgreSQL NOT condition is used with WHERE clause to negate a condition in a query.

Syntax:

SELECT column1, column2, ..... columnN  
FROM table_name  
WHERE [search_condition] NOT [condition];

Let's take a table "EMPLOYEES" having the following data.

SELECT * 
FROM "EMPLOYEES"
WHERE "AGE" IS NOT NULL;
