CAT: Common Admission Test

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This competitive test is conducted by Indian Institute of Management to provide admissions for various management programs for IIMs and Non-IIM institutes.

This is a computer based test which includes the following:

• Reading comprehension in English
• Quantitative ability
• Data interpretation
• Verbal ability and Logical reasoning
• Analytical reasoning

Criteria

The minimum qualification to apply for CAT examination is graduation.
