What is the full form of NDA

(i) NDA: National Defence Academy

The National Defence Academy is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces. Here, all the three services of India the Army, the Navy and the Air force get training together. After this basic and mandatory training, they go to their respective service academies for pre-commissioning training.

The National defense Academy is located in Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra. NDA is the first tri-service academy in the world.

NDA has produced a lot of officers who led and fought in every major war in which Indian Armed Force called to action. It has produced 27 service chiefs till date including 3 Param vir chakra and 9 Ashok chakra recipients.

(ii) NDA: National Democratic Alliance

The National Democratic Alliance is a coalition of political parties in India. It was established in 1998. At the time of its formation NDA was led by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and had 13 constituent parties. This coalition came first in power in 1998 to 2004. The first prime minister of this coalition was Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee who also awarded "Bharat Ratna" later.
